AplaGen is focusing on the discovery of “Cytokine Mimetic Peptides”. Two of these peptides were transformed to products and are now in advanced preclinical development, i.e. SESTide (HemoMer®), an erythropoietin mimetic peptide with superior profile, and ThromboMer®, a thrombopoietin mimetic peptide.
